​CAMERATA RCO

Formed by members of Amsterdam’s famed Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO), Camerata RCO performs chamber music in multiple formations from duet to small chamber orchestra, with a special focus on the Classical and Romantic repertoire for winds and strings. This is their first appearance in one of our concerts.

DANISH STRING QUARTET

The Telegraph Quartet, formed in 2013, is new to SFCM.  The New York Times calls their work  "full of elegance and pinpoint control…” The Quartet has won the prestigious Walter W. Naumburg Chamber Music Award and the Grand Prize at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition.

JUPITER STRING QUARTET with

We cap the season with the return of two favorites, the Jupiter String Quartet and pianist Jon Nakamatsu. The New Yorker characterizes the Quartet as “…one of the mainstays of the American chamber-music scene.” Catapulted to international attention in 1997 as the Gold Medalist of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, pianist Jon Nakamatsu impresses audiences with his intensity, elegance, and electrifying solo, concerto, and chamber music performances.
