Updates to SFCM Programming for 2020-2021

The coronavirus is upending all of our lives. Like everything else, Syracuse Friends of Chamber Music has been affected. We must remain flexible as we deal with the ever-changing environment. These are the adjustments to the new season's programming to date:

  • The Junction Trio will open the season on October 3, replacing the Montrose Trio.  Members of the Montrose Trio live far apart, and they were not able to get together to perform while the pandemic rages.  We hope to welcome them to Syracuse next season.

  • On November 14, the Pacifica Quartet will perform the scheduled Higdon piece, “Voices,” but the rest of that concert will consist of two Beethoven quartets, one of the earliest (op. 18, no. 1) and one of the latest (op. 132).

Stay in touch. Sign up for emails.

Our concerts are made possible with support from CNY Arts, the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, and Syracuse Sounds of Music.
